As an Azure Cloud Migration Engineer on our team, you will assist our client in scoping, planning, and executing a cloud migration project to move legacy server workloads to the cloud. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop the cloud migration strategy, and to execute the strategy with little direction to the warfighter. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience analyzing, documenting, and developing system requirements for a complex enterprise network
- 5+ years of experience planning and executing on-prem workload migrations to Azure
- 5+ years of experience managing an enterprise IT infrastructure consisting of Windows Server-based technologies.
- 3+ years of experience managing file server applications
- Knowledge of cloud-based capabilities available in SharePoint Online and Office 365
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP
Nice If You Have:
- Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on te chn ical assignments
- Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, sof tware, and application services, or equivalent depth in a single solution platform
- Experience collaborating with other enterprise te chn ologists both internally and externally to resolve complex te chn ical issues
- Experience supporting and coordinating across matrixed organizations
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience with cloud-based te chn ology
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering
- CASP+ or CISSP Certification
