Requirements
- Monitor enterprise systems and services continuously, ensuring availability and performance.
- Analyze and respond to automated alerts and customer-reported incidents.
- Coordinate and lead technical conference calls to resolve service disruptions.
- Document incident responses, technical findings, and resolutions through after-action reports.
- Chair technical meetings and clearly communicate issues and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, escalating only critical or unique problems.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, provide insights, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with customers to define service expectations and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent operations.
- Execute small-scale projects and ad hoc tasks with minimal supervision.
- Use enterprise monitoring and IT service tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Splunk, Windows, Linux, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or other IT-related disciplines.
- Degrees in engineering, math, or science are also considered acceptable alternatives.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience required.
Certification Requirements: To be considered, please hold one of the following certifications:
- Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
- SolarWinds Certified Professional
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PERL, and PowerShell.
