Position Description:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at CGI, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining robust cloud environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, resilience, and security of our cloud infrastructure. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including cloud architecture design, operations, and IAM implementation.
This position is located in our Minnesota office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architecture on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Deploy and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Cloud Operations and Maintenance:
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability and proactively address issues.
Implement and manage cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and backups.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related incidents and problems.
IAM Design and Implementation:
Design and implement comprehensive IAM solutions, including user provisioning, access control, role-based access control (RBAC), and privilege access management (PAM).
Develop and maintain IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Integrate IAM systems with various applications and platforms, both cloud-based and on-premises.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
Deploy and manage MFA solutions to enhance security and prevent unauthorized access.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate MFA technologies based on security requirements and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve MFA-related issues.
Cloud Security Engineering:
Design and implement security best practices for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Implement and manage cloud security tools and services, including security information and event management (SIEM), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability scanners.
Automate security tasks and processes using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
Implement and manage cloud identity providers and federated identity solutions.
Security Auditing and Compliance:
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
Generate security reports and metrics for management review.
Participate in security incident response and investigations.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security analysts.
Provide technical guidance and support to users on IAM and security best practices
Document IAM configurations and procedures.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Extensive experience with Azure AD, Identity Access Management, Privilege Access Management
Experience with IAM systems and tools (e.g., Delinea, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity).
Experience with access control models (RBAC, ABAC).
Experience with Knowledge of authentication methods (MFA, SSO).
Deep understanding of IAM concepts (authentication, authorization, access control, least privilege).
Knowledge of EntraID and AWS IAM for identity management
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and Knowledge of network security principles
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
Experience in IAM, Active Directory, Cloud security assessments
Experience in cost optimization and security assessments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200-$154,300
