OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Developer to join a rewarding and dynamic work program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience by designing user-centric, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that ensure seamless user interactions in an agile environment. In close collaboration with product owners, program managers, and software developers, the candidate will translate user needs and business requirements, to include Section 508 compliant solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

In close collaboration with product owners, program managers, and software developers, the candidate will translate user needs and business requirements, to include Section 508 compliant solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of study.
- Eight + years of experience as a UI/UX Developer or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design process and front-end development skills.
- Proficiency in UI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, etc.)
- Excellent front-end development skills with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, SQL.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., GIT).
- Experience with responsive design principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced technical environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, surveys, etc.)
- Familiarity with back-end technologies and APIs.
- Experience with mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with data visualization principles.
CLEARANCE:
- Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
