ASEG Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer possessing subject matter expertise in Cloud architectures, operations and application deployment.
Job Overview
• Experience with Agile Development, notably Scaled Agile Framework
• Developing launch configurations for deployment into AWS GovCloud
• Experience with Java, Web Services, Cloud architectures, operations and application deployment, XML and WSDL knowledge
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing complex systems, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Java
• Experience with scripting and other languages (e.g., JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and/or PERL)
• AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer and/or SysOps Administrator certifications, Security+ Certification
• Domain knowledge of Terraform
• Domain knowledge of Ansible scripting with AWS
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud setting up a CI/CD pipeline
• Developing launch configurations for deployment into AWS GovCloud
• Experience with automated test tools
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of progressive hands-on experience.
