Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Top Secret cleared Technical Writer to support a C5ISR DoD program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Location: Arlington, VA - Onsite
Clearance: TS with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Responsibilities:
- Write and edit technical documents including briefings, papers, general correspondence, and briefings for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and clarity.
- Assess and integrate technical and visual information from multiple sources into well-structured and professionally articulated products.
- Facilitate appropriate review and clearance through Public Affairs and the Office of Security Review.
- Assess and evaluate technical content against mission objectives and strategic messaging guidance to deliver written and visual products for both internal and external audiences.
- Facilitate collection and dissemination of materials for coordination and approval.
- Format documents according to Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) standards.
- Work with diverse groups to reach agreement on content.
- Interview subject matter experts to obtain content.
- Perform document configuration control and storage.
- Collate, edit, format, and refine DDRE-level reports.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma with 5 -10+ years of experience with technical writing related to engineering
- Experience writing in engineering or other highly technical domains.
- Expert skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Congressional activities, proposals, and reports.
- Experience interacting with technical experts in systems engineering.
- Familiarity with document coordination and workflow practices.
- US citizenship required.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 (based on experience).
- Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
