We are currently seeking multiple Senior Systems Engineers to our DoD customer. The objective of the Software Systems Design and Development task area is to design, develop, integrate, sustain, and synchronize systems to meet the needs of the nation’s Warfighters, national level leaders, and mission and coalition partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
● Provides customer support in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of computer systems programs, software, and operations to ensure that systems are functioning according to design specifications
● Provides technical support and diagnoses and resolves system problems
● Linux and Windows Systems Engineering and Administration
● Perform system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Linux and Windows Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system engineering-related functions;
● Work closely with on-site and remote users in coordinating on-site visits and remote resolution support for trouble calls and providing TIER III support for production systems;
● Install and maintain physical and virtual servers and storage devices;
● Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Preferred Skills:
● Prior experience supporting DoD Command and Control Systems
● Bachelor degree or higher in IT, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical field
● Excellent oral and written communication
● Workshop facilitation
● Ability to work independently with little supervision
● Ability to work in a team
● Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
● Virtualization Technologies
● Storage Technologies
● Networking (including Juniper and Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances and network encryption devices)
