We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Component Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing electronic and mechanical components used in fielded electronic warfare systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in components engineering, a good understanding of supply chain management, the ability to ensure compliance with standards, form, fit, and function.

Duties:
  • Review components to ensure that they meet form, fit and function
  • Identify and evaluate components and potential replacement parts
  • Review and evaluate technical data, drawings, and requirements to ensure components support reliability and quality
  • Ensure all components meet standards and evaluate potential replacement components meet standards and requirements
  • Monitor the lifecycle of components and proactively recommend alternatives for obsolete or at-risk parts
  • Investigate component failures and provide recommendations for improvements or replacement parts
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate components effectively into systems
  • Maintain detailed records of component specifications, test results and other technical data

Desired Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Desired Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
