As a Systems Administrator III, you will be using your skills and expertise to assist in the analysis, development, and configuration of our existing software and systems that address business requirements and processes. You'll be responsible for evaluating the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of our systems, establishing and documenting system parameters and formats, ensuring hardware and software system compatibility, coordinating and/or modifying system parameters, and revising our existing systems and testing functionality of those systems. You'll correct deficiencies and produce more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers and related infrastructure components.
- Manage and maintain AI systems, including hardware and software components.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure security and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on premise and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
- Administrator and support Azure Entra and RBAC
- Manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior IT staff.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
- Ensure NIST 800-171 compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in an information technology related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Prior experience with systems administration in Windows or Linux environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others
- Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
- Proven organizational skills with an attention to detail
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 2-5 years experience implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Operations
- 2-5 years' Experience implementing and supporting VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation)
- 2-5 years' Experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (PRTG, VROperations, Solarwinds)
- Ability to Trouble shoot Network connectivity between Server Infrastructure
- Certifications
- Azure Fundamentals
- One of the following:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
