Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Developer to support the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Fusion Center Project in the Indo-Pacific region, with a focus on maritime domain awareness (MDA) support to partner nation maritime operations. The position requires a strong understanding of commercially available MDA software, as well as the ability to integrate pertinent information into a Common Operating Picture (COP) and support products. The position requires experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and international partners. The Senior Systems Developer will be responsible for supporting Project objectives, which include automating legacy database systems, planning integration of new and legacy systems, testing and evaluating new capabilities, and documenting new procedures.

The salary range for this position is $155K to $190K. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Support the development, planning, staffing, coordination, integration, and assessment of fusion center systems capabilities.
- Collaborate with various teams, including project management, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide program management support, including contributing to monthly status reports, convening technical status meetings, and preparing after-action reports
- Support the testing and evaluation of new capabilities, development of innovative solutions, and technical integration of new and legacy systems.
- Support development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Automate legacy database systems
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience supporting the Indo-Pacific region
- No less than 10 years of progressively complex experience in software design, development, testing and integration, consisting of:
- 5 years of Python software development
- 3 years of SQL database experience
- 3 years teaching software development or systems engineering
- Proven experience working with the following: Java and R coding; Angular Data; AI Modeling, to include "Big" data (large volumes); Open-Source Packages (including construction); Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
- Experience operating independently in foreign countries; developing and instructing training material; supporting a Maritime Common Operating Picture (COP); optimizing data for low-bandwidth data receivers; briefing senior leaders and international partners
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Clearance Required: TS with SCI eligibility. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to hold a TS clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
- Experience working with government contracts
- Experience with testing and integration in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments, and contributing to the management of a COP
- Experience supporting maritime operations
- Experience supporting the development of fusion center systems capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective solutions
- Knowledge of fusion center operations, technology, and management
- Familiarity with ITAR and export control regulations
- Familiarity with GIS software
- Background knowledge of commercially available MDA tools, such as Starboard Maritime Intelligence, and satellite imaging companies/tools, including Maxar, Umbra Space, Hawkeye 360, and Dark Vessel Detection
