Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Cloud Discovery Engineer to lead and support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow Cloud Discovery capabilities across multiple classification levels. Provide expertise in ServiceNow Discovery and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage ServiceNow Cloud Discovery for cloud and hybrid environments across isolated networks with different classification levels.
• Deploy and manage MID Servers in classified and unclassified zones, ensuring secure, compliant communication with cloud resources.
• Configure and maintain cloud discovery connectors (AWS, Azure, GCP), credential stores, and secure key rotation mechanisms.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce data segregation, access control, and compliance standards.
• Define and manage discovery schedules and credential management strategies per classification level.
• Ensure discovered configuration items are normalized and accurately populated into the CMDB.
• Troubleshoot discovery issues and tune performance across classification levels and cloud providers.
• Support incident response and change management processes tied to discovery and CMDB updates.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical training materials.
• Develop design documents and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR
• Associate's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR
• High School Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and MID Server deployment.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Cloud Management, and ITOM modules.
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Proven experience working within classified environments or secure enclaves.
• Deep understanding of networking, firewall rules, and cloud API integration.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery
• Experience with multi-instance architecture across classification levels
• Familiarity with Service Mapping, Event Management, or Security Operations
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript)
• Ability to think critically and solve complex issues
• Ability to work with other teams and stakeholders to ensure mission success
