You will be a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician for our team, working in the inspection and repair area to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of various equipment. Our team is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with GSE, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our ranks.

What You Will Be Doing

As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for working with a team to inspect and repair GSE, including diagnosing engine and drive train issues and recommending a course of action. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of various equipment, including pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and forklifts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Diagnose engine and drive train issues with GSE and recommend a course of action
• Perform day-to-day upkeep of various equipment, including pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and forklifts
• Purge and process equipment's HVAC systems, requiring certification
• Inspect and repair GSE to ensure it is in good working condition
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues with GSE
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for GSE maintenance and repair

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Previous experience performing Technical Inspections and documenting on DA FORM 2404 per specifications / requirements / minimums listed in the -10 and -20 series Technical Manuals.

Previous experience / training in handling Hazardous oils / various products.

* Experience diagnosing faults with various gasoline / Diesel Engines, Generators.
* Documented formal automotive mechanical / electrical training.
* US Government Certification for JLTV Operator training.
* Formally Certified to handle / process various refrigerants.
Desired Skills:
Strong mechanical repair background in performing technical inspections; experience in documentation of processes performed; managing of refrigerant materials
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
