Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the production process from start to finish.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with customer , vendors, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner .
- Optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Production Manager or similar role in hardware manufacturing in support of a large DoD program.
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices within the DoD .
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Department of Defense standards and guidelines
