TSS Technician (Sr) at various Overseas locations. This position will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting a wide variety of technical security equipment as related to FE/BR products and barrier security systems. Is familiar with US Embassy/OBO standards for construction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Install and troubleshoot a wide variety of technical security equipment and components, including alarms, access control systems, locks, security video systems, i-star system, pumps, power supplies, ADA systems, and forced entry ballistic resistant doors.
Install and terminate cables at device and rack,program, and label as necessary.
Perform technical scope of work surveys, develop system specifications, install test, commission, and warrant equipment installations.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring,m equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Follow blue prints and SHW package requirements to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure compliance to building and safety codes.
Trouble-shoot devices, identify TSS actions and develop RFI's for submission to the Client.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
5-15 years hands on experience wiring and terminating low voltage devices - cameras, door hardware, panels, racks, ADA systems, pumps, and power supplies.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and wiring diagrams
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in solving those problems.
Must have experience with installation of Forced Entry Resistant Doors, windows, barriers, gates and be familiar with US Embassy/OBO standards for construction.
TSS and barrier system programming skills required.
