We are seeking a Process Improvement & Data Analyst to support a federal client in evaluating and improving operational processes-especially those that are currently manual but may be automated in the future. The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical skills, process improvement experience, and the ability to work independently and proactively in a client-facing environment.
This position will involve working with new client teams unfamiliar with process improvement, requiring the ability to translate requirements, manage tasks with limited oversight, and drive measurable progress.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Process Improvement & Data Analyst to support a federal client in evaluating and improving operational processes-especially those that are currently manual but may be automated in the future. This position will involve working with new client teams unfamiliar with process improvement, requiring the ability to translate requirements, manage tasks with limited oversight, and drive measurable progress.
Core Responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather process information and document current-state workflows.
- Develop process maps (Visio required) and identify improvement opportunities across functional teams.
- Present findings and support implementation of approved recommendations.
- Support performance evaluation activities, including development of evaluation criteria, standardized reporting tools, and a Governance Plan.
- Interpret business and data requirements independently and propose logical next steps.
- Collaborate with other workstreams (e.g., data analytics, performance reviews) to align improvement strategies.
- Contribute to data analysis and visualization efforts, with opportunities to build dashboards, automate workflows, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Required Skills:
- Active Secret federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience in process improvement, consulting, or data analysis
- Experience facilitating meetings, gathering business requirements, and working directly with stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Visio or other process mapping tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data analysis and programming tools such as R or Python
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with process automation technologies (e.g., Power Automate, ServiceNow, Power Apps)
- Experience in federal consulting or public sector projects
- Ability to interpret requirements, work independently, and manage competing priorities effectively
