Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that meet Government requirements.
- Provide scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure to support Government needs.
- Lead the DevSecOps team in developing automation tools and processes to streamline software development and deployment.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to detect and diagnose cloud infrastructure and software application issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects and engineers across teams.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and common services, providing recommendations for their use.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all security and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with developers, researchers, and testers to ensure teams meet milestones and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Managed Service Providers, and other required vendors.
- Implement cloud architecture standards and best practices to align with program goals.
- Provide leadership to ensure infrastructure supports the software development life cycle, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
Clearance Required:
- DoD Top Secret/SCI
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- BS degree and 8 or more years of experience in AWS cloud architecture with public cloud providers. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role.
- 2 or more years of experience working in a DoD or Federal Government environment
- Strong knowledge of FedRAMP+ environments, cloud security, and compliance requirements
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or above certification required (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security)
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions
- Experience leading DevSecOps teams and integrating automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of network architecture, identity and access management, and cloud security frameworks.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Experience implementing zero-trust cloud architectures
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
