Radio, Cellular, and Tower Equipment Installer and Repairer

Key Role:

Work pertains to assembly fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. May operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply technical expertise and industry knowledge to programs or projects. May assist in the development of solutions to complex problems. Work with minimal supervision within established procedures and practices. May serve as informal lead or mentor to more junior team members. Repair, install, or maintain mobile or stationary radio transmitting, broadcasting, and receiving equipment and two-way radio communications systems used in cellular telecommunications, mobile broadband, ship-to-shore, aircraft-to-ground communications, and radio equipment in facilities, transportable systems, and vehicles. May test and analyze network coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience repairing, installing, or maintaining mobile or stationary radio transmitting, broadcasting, and receiving equipment and two-way radio communications systems directly related to public safety or DoD communication systems or networks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite to analyze and document work assignments and activities
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience with two-way radio communications systems, Asso cia te's degree and 7+ years of experience with two-way radio communications systems, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with two-way radio communications systems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
