Have an understanding and experience with large, complex Government IT projects and organizations. Works both procedural and technical aspects involving methods, procedures, principles, theories, and techniques used in the acquisition program area.
Have a working knowledge of the DoD Directive 5000.01 Acquisition regulations.
Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts, architectures, and trade-offs to effectively communicate with engineers and stakeholders.
Awareness of relevant emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud computing, cybersecurity) and their potential impact on government software.
Be conversant in software testing and the DevSecOPS pipeline.
Experience in Project Management and project management tools including building product roadmaps for stakeholders.
Have experience providing subject matter expertise to Government clients in the acquisition of software.
Familiar with cloud-based technologies and solutions and the benefits and limitations over on-prem solutions.
Supports Government PM and technical experts on program and contractual matters based on a working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy.
Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Desired Skills:
DoD experience either as a support contractor or as a Government civilian.
Experience in managing software development projects and delivering software solutions.
Is focused on meeting objectives in a proactive and transparent manner.
Strong written and oral communication skills
