Position: Laboratory Technician
Location: Greater Boston, MA (Onsite)
Length: 1 year to start
40 hours a week: (Friday - Tuesday or (Wednesday - Sunday) 1 day shift, 1 mid shift, and 2 overnight shifts are available.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Satellite Operator / Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, ensuring the proper operation of laboratory processes and satellite operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with various teams to maintain laboratory functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that all tasks are completed safely and accurately.
• Contribute to maintaining operational logs and performing handover procedures in line with established guidelines.
Qualifications:
The #1 skill is a willingness to learn - we will train these new team members. Must be operations/mission critical oriented.
• An understanding of following operational procedures and safety protocols, with an understanding of quality control and safety standards.
• High proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with space domain awareness concepts and operations is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting operational missions or programs in a technical capacity is highly desirable.
• Due to the nature of the work, a Secret clearance is required
