Your contributions are...
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure document content is accurate
- Organize document content for readability, with a focus on the intended audience
- Write/edit content, then publish and distribute final product
- Maintain documentation library using existing configuration management processes
Requirements for your new career...
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 8 years of experience in technical writing
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to gather technical information and requirements
- Strong experience with Atlassian Confluence
- Experience with programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
