This position requires that the candidate selected be eligible to obtain, or currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance. The position further requires the candidate will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in system design or one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud migration.
  • Current, active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions for customers adopting cloud solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Experience in application/workload migration to public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to engage effectively with executives of large enterprises on both technical and non-technical matters.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers get the most value from their Google Cloud Platform investments. You'll be leveraging your technical expertise and customer service skills to create a compelling customer experience enabling customers to succeed with Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality for customer engagements, developing relationships with key stakeholders internally/externally that will help the team deliver on the customer's technical requirements and business goals.
  • Ensure successful delivery and execution on customer engagements and lead by doing when it comes to making customers in the region successful.
  • Support advisors in establishing deep and lasting customer relationships, delivering both proactive and reactive guidance on customer technical issues and helping to track, escalate, and aid in the remediation of technical issues.
  • Share best practices with the counterparts in other regions and place an emphasis on shared success across the team and across regions.
