USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Global Operations Center (GOC) Mission Capability SME - Mission Areas:
- Specializes in multi-disciplinary engineering services to collaboratively solve complex problems that span various technical fields. Applies solutions by using the following:
- Engineering and Integration Services
- O&S
- Line of Sight and Satellite RF Communications
- Systems and Architecture Support
- National Nuclear, Command and Control, Communications, and Computer (N2C4) System Engineering and Integration
- C2 and NC2 Communications Systems
- Secure and Non-secure Voice and Data Systems
- RF Systems
- High Frequency (HF) Systems
- Air-to-Ground and other communication service delivery
- Senior Leader Communications Systems/Platforms
- Human User Interface Control Systems
- Console Design/Integration
- 3D Modeling and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
- Performs research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) to improve mission planning, analysis, and execution capabilities for strategic deterrence.
- Researches and assesses Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) data as well as organizational and technical requirements for candidate solutions.
- Tests and evaluates system survivability, interoperability, reliability, maintenance, and maintenance upgrades.
- Conducts and documents capabilities-based assessments and analyses of alternatives (AoA).
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education and Experience: BA/BS or equivalent and 10+ years of experience
- Required Certifications: FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or Security+; ITIL 4 Foundation ITSM certification or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire
- Desired Certifications: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP); or TOGAF Certified Architect; or ITIL 4 Managing Professional; or Lean Six Sigma Green belt; or Certified Satellite Communications Professional; or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP); or RF and Microwave Engineering Certification by IEEE: or Nuclear Engineering Professional Engineer; or Certified Nuclear Security Professional (CNSP); or Global Command and Control System (GCCS) certification; or GIAC GCIP; or CISSP; or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE); or Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) - AutoCAD
- Security Clearance: minimum Top Secret. Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility. TS/SCI preferred
- Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE
