Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an EITaaS Technologies Principal, Strategic Plans to support the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) Division, which focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases.

This position will support the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) branch which leverages best practices from commercial industry to provide standardized, innovative, and agile Information Technology (IT) services to the Air Force (AF) as a service. Information Technology (IT) and resources managed across the Air Force providing connect, protect, storage, computing, hardware, software, common IT services, commodities, and hosting for Enterprise mission and business systems. Includes people, processes, and products to plan, prioritize, acquire, operate, and continually improve Enterprise IT capabilities. Informed by enterprise acquisition, strategic sourcing, and category management. Controlled through governance, performance management, and architecture management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The individual leads efforts within assigned EITaaS functional areas in support of developing Strategic Plans and providing expert recommendations in Networking / Telecom models.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Defines Service Life Cycle and Process Governance and develops Oversight and Management Plans.
• Provides requirements and Service Level Agreement definitions.
• Assists in planning, documenting, and reviewing proposed Application Migration Strategies.
• Assists in the development of a strategic plan with the vision, goals, and objectives applicable to their functional area of expertise.
• Provides expert consulting to assist the government in defining EITaaS specific Cyber Security requirements, definitions and provides support in appropriately applying these concepts in the AFNet RMF.
• Provides expertise to assist in the implementation of EITaaS Transition and strategies to normalize Operations Support. Provides functional area expertise to stakeholder communication strategies.
• Shall be able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.

Additional Job responsibilities include:

User Experience:

• Assist in developing a framework for understanding end users and their interactions with USAF IT, including user archetypes and journeys across Risk Reduction Effort (RRE) Bases
• Assist in designing and prototyping a methodology and processes for gathering user experience metrics (i.e., user sentiment, user satisfaction, etc.,) across RRE Bases including design and implementation of baseline and ongoing end user surveys
• Assist in developing and prototyping processes for gathering and reporting Voice of the End User qualitative data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in a related discipline and 15 years of experience which must be interoperability and integration engineering experience, 5 years of which must be DoD.
• Must be capable of applying expertise to identify and resolve complex problems independently.
• Must understand and apply principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Must be capable of developing solutions to a variety of complex problems and perform work under general direction.
• Must be capable of planning schedules and arrange activities in support of efficiently accomplishing objectives.
• Must have an active US Security Clearance
