Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. Core Responsibilities - Psych Tech:

• Be the first line of support by conducting mental health assessments, clinical interviews, and standardized psychological testing.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and group counseling.
• Monitor and report patient progress while ensuring safety through precautionary measures.
• Assist with referrals to public, private, and military agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• Offer compassionate support to individuals facing acute and post-traumatic stress reactions.

Core Responsibilities - LPN/LVN:

• Deliver hands-on patient care, including administering medications and monitoring treatments.
• Recognize and respond to emergent patient care situations, ensuring swift and accurate interventions.
• Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and procedures, assisting RNs and MDs.
• Educate patients and families, promoting healthy outcomes and providing emotional support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless and high-quality care.

Requirements - Psych Tech:

• Certificate in Psychiatric Technician training or equivalent education and experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation.

Requirements - LPN/LVN:

• Certificate from an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of practical or vocational nurse experience post-graduation.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license.
