Program Overview

Supports the transformation and modernization of legacy Coast Guard systems and services including mobility, messaging, ITSM, ITAM, Network Infrastructure, and legacy data systems from on premise implementations to cloud and hybrid cloud solutions. New system and service implementations, including zero trust architecture, to provide leading edge systems that are both secure and accessible.

About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Senior ITILV4 Program Manager to support the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) program in Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will become part of Peraton's United States Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) program. This program is an enterprise IT delivery service and is executed to bring innovation and modernization to the USCG enterprise IT environment, within a managed service business model. The USCG enterprise encompasses an extensive range of IT infrastructure services and has unique solution challenges to meet their mission needs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the DOD Enterprise Services Management Framework (DESMF) and related Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes to make sure they are being effectively implemented and executed across all vendors providing IMS services in alignment with the USCG's new organizational structure.
  • Leads continual improvement of processes and manages the lifecycle of services.
  • Provides oversight and guidance for the program-wide definition and implementation of DESMF-aligned processes, procedures, work instructions, and associated tools.
  • Communicates opportunities for (Information Technology Information Library) ITIL training and education.
  • Aligns ITSM processes and activities to the ISO 20000 Information Technology - Service Management standard.
  • Assigns a Named Technical Representative for each of the ITSM processes.
  • Collaborates with service managers and functional leaders including engineering, operations, and service desk as well as other USCG contractors and service providers to enable seamless process execution across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years professional experience
  • 10 years of experience consulting and implementing IT Service Management processes for programs of similar scope and complexity - including familiarity with DESMF, ITIL, and ISO 20000
  • 5 years of experience integrating and managing service management processes and procedures in a multi-vendor environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams of IT professionals supporting a large enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements
  • Certified ITIL 4 Managing Professional (aligned with the latest version of DESMF)
  • Candidates must possess or have the ability to obtain Certified TBM Executive (CTBME)
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
