Program Overview

About The Role

  • Coordinate and assist with the release cycle of software or system updates.
  • Ensure that new features, patches, or improvements are correctly integrated and deployed.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Monitor the system after the release for performance, bugs, and necessary improvements.
  • Focus on maintaining and enhancing existing systems rather than designing them from scratch.
  • Handle incident management and may work to ensure that enhancements meet user needs.
  • Store the released software (source code, scripts, documentation, datasets, etc.) in a definitive library, in accordance with DevSecOps methodology.
  • Validating the production-ready test outcome by unit testing and independent verification and validation (IV&V) and approved for production via the approved governance process.
*Position contingent upon Spring 2025 award*

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.
  • BA/BS and 5+ years of experience; Masters and 3+ years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Expertise in release management processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Knowledge of version control, testing, and deployment automation.
  • Communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration.
Desired
  • Relevant certifications related to job function (CRM, DevOps, CSM, ITIL, CompTIA Project+)

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
