A3 Consulting LLC is looking to hire a System Administrator III for our government client. The experienced System Administrator will be responsible for leading a fast-paced operations staff and coordinating, configuring, and implementing change management processes across systems. In this job you will:
Handle User Requests for File corrections, Backend File Ingestion and Processing on Windows and Linux servers,
Provide tier 3 support to helpdesk for end user OPIS support.
Monitor data transfers within DCSA network and transmissions to external Agencies.
Participate in the development and implementation of new it projects and initiatives.
Assists new hires to learn the entry level roles.
Manage UAT testing scenarios that require knowledge of how the OPIS environment operates.
Works with DCSA test users to coordinate testing in UAT before a project is released to production.
Provide oversight to the other members of the team.
Handles high level requests as made by the business unit or DCSA ITPMO Federal Leads.
Works with federal leads and developer staff on production issues that arise and pulls in junior and entry level staff as needed.
Document procedures, policies, and configurations related to it systems and infrastructure
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the field of it.
Qualifications for the role:
Associate's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum five years of experience as a system administrator.
Demonstrated communication skills.
Experience working in a helpdesk environment.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret or ability to obtain interim Top Secret
Salary range:
The salary range of this position is $90,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
