A3 Consulting LLC is looking to hire an A&E System Administrator/Engineer for our government client. The A&W System Administrator/Engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment. In this job you will:
Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software products.
Gather information from customers on their needs and develop the software to match their desires.
Design programs and analyze how they’ll fit together.
Create diagrams and models that programmers may need for each application.
Oversee testing to ensure new applications work as intended.
Ensure the software continues to work properly after maintenance and testing.
Troubleshoot problems with software and aiding in the creation of patches and updates to address them.
Ensure that stages of development reach completion on time according to project milestones.
Document all aspects of the application for future upgrades and maintenance.
Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions.
Lead software development projects.
Document and record every aspect of an application or software.
Train and oversee the activities of the members of the development team.
Plan, track and schedule software deliverables.
Locate and direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.
Look for problems within software systems and resolve the issues.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum seven (7) years of experience.
Excellent architecture and technical support documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret or ability to obtain interim Top Secret
Salary range:
The salary range of this position is $130,000 - $145,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
