We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test and Evaluation Technician to support our cutting-edge projects in both lab and aircraft production environments. What You'll Do:
  • Innovate and Collaborate: Work alongside production operations personnel to fabricate and maintain advanced instrumentation systems.
  • Sensor Installation: Install a variety of sensors, including Strain Gages, Accelerometers, Thermocouples, RTDs, and Pressure Transducers, onto aircraft parts and assemblies.
  • Technical Mastery: Interpret engineering drawings, perform surface prep, hand sanding, cleaning, and handle hazardous materials with care.
  • Electrical Expertise: Fabricate wiring, perform electrical terminations, soldering, crimping, wire routing, continuity checks, labeling, and sealing.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical circuit and wiring issues with precision.
  • Versatile Work Environment: Work from stair ladders, mobile lift platforms, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or overhead support systems, ensuring safety with PPE like eye protection and hard toe shoes.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Design systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in test design and perform routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems.
  • Coordinate test requirements and review test methods and capabilities.
  • Facilitate systems integration, fabrication, and modification; support system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down.
  • Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results.
  • Troubleshoot and recommend resolutions for basic laboratory and test-related problems.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Associate's degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2+ years of equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience in fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or electrical components.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in installing aircraft modifications, including fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components, or avionics boxes.
  • Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication.
Education/Experience:
  • AA degree in a related discipline and typically 1+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
