We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Azure Cloud Support Technician to provide front-line user support and assist with the administration of our cloud-based systems in a Microsoft GCC High environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows users, who is also interested in building skills in Azure cloud administration, endpoint management, and federal compliance.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Azure Cloud Support Technician to provide front-line user support and assist with the administration of our cloud-based systems in a Microsoft GCC High environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows users, who is also interested in building skills in Azure cloud administration, endpoint management, and federal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-User Support: Act as the first point of contact for end-user IT support, addressing issues related to Microsoft 365 GCC High applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- User Lifecycle Management: Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and device configuration.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common IT problems, including login issues, multi-factor authentication (MFA) resets, VPN connectivity, email/calendar synchronization, and hardware connectivity concerns.
- Device Management: Utilize Microsoft Intune to manage devices, deploy applications, enforce policies, and monitor compliance.
- Infrastructure Support: Assist with Azure and network troubleshooting tasks, such as DNS, VPN, and virtual network issues, under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Documentation: Maintain internal documentation on recurring issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline support processes.
- Monitoring and Escalation: Monitor system alerts, support tickets, and performance metrics; escalate complex issues to managed service providers (MSPs) or senior technical staff as necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform routine administrative duties, including license tracking, certificate renewals, and endpoint patching.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or junior system/cloud administration roles.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (GCC High preferred) and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Identity Management: Familiarity with Azure AD, user identity lifecycle management, and endpoint management tools.
- Networking Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Additional Skills: Interest or experience with Microsoft Intune, PowerShell scripting, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and attention to documentation.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
