Background information:
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of cutting-edge cloud-based integration, automated testing and data analysis for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking a Senior Product System Engineer to be based in our Mount Laurel, NJ office. Leveraging advanced software automation, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and AI-driven capabilities, IDT accelerates capability development, enhances operational readiness, and reduces lifecycle costs for the Department of Defense. Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Product System Engineer to perform system level product design as well as product level testing. The Senior System Product Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing the Analysis Manager product, ensuring it's functionality, performance, and integration with other IDT products throughout the product lifecycle. In addition, the Senior Product System Engineer will be involved in performing manual and automated testing of the Analysis Manager product.

Pay Range*: $164,000 - $273,000 or $198,000 - $328,000

- Develop users stories/use cases/requirements for the product
- Create user activity diagrams related to product interaction
- Execute System, Integration, and Regression testing
- Work in a team environment with testers and developers to troubleshoot issues
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in system product design and testing
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
Required Skills:
- Experience in product level design including requirement and use case definition, and user activity diagrams.
- Experience in testing software and test automation
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Ability to travel approximately 10%
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product level design including requirement and use case definition, and user activity diagrams.
- Experience in integration and system level testing
- Experience in Navy tactical systems
- Familiar with MagicDraw and/or other UML SysML applications
- Familiar with Issue and Project Tracking software applications (e.g. Jira)
