The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Navy and Marine Corps to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of te chn ical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop and maintain the exact network the Navy and Marine Corps needs.

As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your skills in network design, architecture, and network administration, alongside overall system architecture and aircraft knowledge, to help support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries. You'll develop program-wide infrastructure, maintain existing networks, and analyze existing systems and networks for future upgrades and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You'll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, network design and architecture, and system architecture as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD deploy new capabilities for a mission-critical platform.

You Have:

  • Experience with Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience in the design process for complex DoD network systems, Asso cia te's degree and 6+ years of experience in the design process for complex DoD network systems, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in the design process for complex DoD network systems
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in classified spaces to implement network solutions
  • Experience with VMware ESXi and maintaining a virtualized environment
  • Experience with the Navy ATO process
  • Knowledge of optimizing system operations and resource utilization
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Te chn ology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
