OCONUS Fleet Support Representative (FSR) ALQ-99

Precise Systems is seeking a Fleet Support Representative (FSR) with expertise in ALQ-99 electronic warfare (EW) system to provide on-site technical and training support at RAAF Amberley Base, Queensland, Australia.

This is a full time, OCONUS role at RAAF Amberley Base, Queensland, Australia.

Duties:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System
• Assist with system integration, diagnostics, and repair to ensure mission readiness
• Collaborate with FMS, military personnel, contractors, and engineering teams to provide technical support and training
• Conduct on-site assessments, system performance evaluations, and failure analysis
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports on system issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Support mission planning, operational testing, and flight line activities related to electronic attack (EA) and electronic surveillance operations
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies, ITAR, safety regulations, and security requirements
• Provide training and mentorship to others on ALQ-99 and ALQ-218 system operation and maintenance.

Required Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Formal military Training in aviation electronics/avionics related to the ALQ-99 jammer system

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4 years' experience and formal military training in troubleshooting, maintaining, and integrating ALQ-99 on the EA-18G Growler aircraft.
• 4 years' working with ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming Systems
• Experience with ALQ-218 Electronic Support Measures (ESM) systems is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with EA-18G Growler avionics and EW systems
• Strong background in electronic warfare (EW), avionics troubleshooting, and RF systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Prior experience working in OCONUS or deployed environments is desirable
• Ability to work independently in high-tempo operational settings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military experience in avionics, electronic warfare, or aerospace maintenance
• Experience supporting US Navy, USMC, or DoD aviation units

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to work overseas for extended periods
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a passport and necessary travel clearances
• May be required to pass a medical and fitness assessment for overseas assignments.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
