Functional Area Expert I
Location: Austin, TX or Remote
Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Functional Area Expert I to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in business, functional, and technical disciplines and have a strong background in conducting research on specialized areas. This role involves proposing innovative solutions to complex problems within the candidate's area of expertise.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on specialized areas and develop comprehensive reports.
• Analyze business, functional, and technical needs to propose new solutions to existing problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Provide expert advice and guidance in functional expertise areas to support organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Document and communicate research findings and recommendations effectively.
Required Skills:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive research.
• Proven track record of proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in federal contracts and assistance.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Background in digital transformation and data governance.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a related scientific, or technical discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
