Network Design Engineer

Contract Position

$58.13-$63.13/Hour

Network Design Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company.

Responsibilities:

• Design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and network administrators.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen is required by federal law
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field and 5+ years of experience (or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience)
• Capable of performing technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design
• Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent discipline/field
• Develop and provide innovative and creative solutions to a variety of difficult problems of considerable scope and complexity, using established precedent and policies
