Responsibilities:
Performs system development lifecycle activities to include analysis and requirements management, design, coding, testing and production support.
Provides business process improvement support to include analyzing and evaluating current processes conduct and participate in strategic planning efforts to document “as-Is” data and process models describing business functions, interfaces, and data.
Perform system design functions, develops specifications based on specific taskings, builds and documents data, and processes designs to satisfy software requirements.
Codes designs for implementation and executes in tools and languages designated by the client.
Provide support for conversion and migration of data residing in legacy files and database schemas to the specified target architecture and/or schema.
Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation and makes charts and graphs to record results.
Supports to ensure interoperability, simplifying interfacing, maximizing integration and coordinating the implementation of required systems.
Minimum Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
5+ years of experience in the following technologies: Java/Java Scripting; HTML/XHTML; Oracle PL/SQL; Cascading Style Sheets
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional presence
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Struts/Struts2
Active DoD Clearance
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
