Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer – Tracking Systems Engineer position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related plus a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Position: Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent
Pay: $88.45/hour
Telecommute: Hybrid

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

-Satellite communications knowledge
-Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
-Ground operations experience
Preferred Experience:
-STK/Python, CAMEO, or MATLAB analyst focus
-SE with MBSE experience and tracking knowledge
-SE with core skills space, tracking, MATLAB or Python skills, some software ideal for backfill
-SMART OA SE – knowledge of IRPL and modeling tracking payload, aerospace experience
-Strong SW, cloud, modeling, and sim background with space knowledge
