Job Description:
As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to bring wireframes, mockups, and UI/UX concepts to life. You’ll take an active role in the creation of responsive web pages, ensuring that they match customer expectations and align with modern design principles. A keen eye for detail, user-centric thinking, and strong technical skills are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
UI/UX Implementation: Develop and implement user interfaces for our .NET Core website based on provided wireframes and mockups.
Mockups & Wireframes: Use design software (Figma or Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) to create and update mockups, wireframes, and visual design assets for review and approval by stakeholders.
Frontend Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to bring designs to life. Ensure that the web pages are pixel-perfect and responsive across various screen sizes and devices.
Responsive Design: Build web pages that are fully responsive and optimized for different devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Framework Integration: Use frameworks like Bootstrap and JQuery to create responsive layouts, interactive elements, and dynamic content.
Accessibility Compliance: Ensure that all web pages meet accessibility standards, including WCAG 508 compliance, to ensure the application is usable for all users, including those with disabilities.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with back-end developers and product managers to implement the design and functionality requirements of the project.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the website.
Qualifications:
Design Software Skills: Proficient in design software such as Figma or Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools. Must be able to produce detailed mockups, wireframes, and visual assets for customer review.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience in creating custom styles, implementing designs, and optimizing pages for performance.
Framework Proficiency: Strong fluency with Bootstrap and JQuery. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
Responsive Design: Expertise in building responsive web pages that function seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes.
Mobile & Accessibility Knowledge: Understanding of mobile-first development and the ability to build mobile-optimized sites.
Web Accessibility: Solid experience with WCAG 508 standards and ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements for users with disabilities.
Version Control: Basic familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.
