Communications
Supports C1100 Administrative Department as independent command corporate communications representative will be tasked to assist in the task & function planning, execution and monitoring of the internal and external corporate communication systems servicing SRF-JRMC Yokosuka and Detachment Sasebo. Shares work assignments specified by the SRF-JRMC Administrative Director (C1100) with other contractors assigned to corporate communications.
Program support
Supports a variety of Command Communications programmatic support functions required to obtain the desired results pursuant to the execution of the SRF-JRMC's goals and objectives. Assists in generating corporate communication projects, including publication contracts, funds, and resources. Assists in providing work prioritization of work requests received for command corporate communications functions to ensure deadlines are met; may be called upon to review the Corp comms functions and tasks in the drafts of Command Instructions, Notices, Policies, and other directives pertaining to Corporate Communications.
Public Affairs
Contractor supports the writing/editing /proof reading of various print and electronic media, design layout and composition of executive speeches and producing newsletter, notices, announcements, posters, visual graphs, and charts to illustrate complex, and administrative initiatives. Assist in the collection, preparation, and dissemination of Public Affairs information relevant to SRF-JRMC Yokosuka and Detachment Sasebo, such as photographic support of military events, command and social event functions through news releases, photographs and video coverages and other materials. Submits photographs/video coverages for publications to SRF-JRMC Security division (C1110) for Operational Security policy compliance.

- Attends meetings with potential and existing customers.
- Analyzes customer needs and recommends economical solutions.
- Develops key milestones and schedules.
- Develops programmatic cost estimates.
- Assesses program performance and objectives.
- Recommends Task Priorities to the C1100 Admin Officer.
- Managers the schedules of C1105 and ensures that deadlines are met.
- Coordinates translation requirements with C1130 Admin support division head.
- Develops draft Command Instructions, Notices, Policies and other directives pertaining to Corporate Communication.
- Conducts annual MIC Risk and Internal Control Assessment on Command Public Affairs/Corporate Communications.
- The contractor is responsible for writing/editing /proof reading various print and electronic media, preparing design layout and composition of executive speeches and producing newsletter, notices, announcements, posters, visual graphs and charts to illustrate complex, administrative, business and operation initiatives.
- The contractor is responsible for the collection, preparation and dissemination of Public Affairs information relevant to SRF-JRMC Yokosuka and Detachment Sasebo, such as participation in military operations, command and social event functions through news releases, photographs and video coverages and other materials.
- The contractor is responsible for assisting C1100 in the coordination and facilitation of Command Social and Event functions. Tasks include but not limited to development of executives' speeches and development and execution of event programs. Plans and executes corporate communication requirements in support of the command social and event functions and coordinates with CFAY PAO on PA requirements for Seahawk publications.
- The contractor is responsible for ensuring photographs/video coverages for publications are in compliance with the Operational Security policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Overtime is anticipated, travel expected, and the contractor will be exposed to industrial work environment for photograph/video coverage and frequent travelling to/from SRF-JRMC Detachment Sasebo/SRF-JRMC Yokosuka.
- Must hold a current Secret Security Clearance.
- Must have basic experience/training in Microsoft Suite (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Must take PII, Information Assurance
- The candidate shall have intermediate to advanced computer skills/knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- The contractor shall have a basic understanding of Office 365, SharePoint.
- The contractor must have excellent communication skills.
- The contractor must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- The contractor must have problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- The contractor must have Public Affairs experience.
