What you will be doing!

Join Independent Software as an Enterprise Tools Management Specialist and play a critical role in the health, performance, and security compliance of enterprise IT services. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring key platforms such as Splunk, SCCM, Micro Focus, and 1E, ensuring operational continuity and optimizing system performance.

As a valued member of our IT Operations team, you will design and deliver effective solutions that simplify complexity, enhance service delivery, and meet evolving mission needs. Your contributions will help protect today and shape a smarter tomorrow.

Responsibilities:
1. Service Monitoring and Management
  • Monitor the availability and performance of enterprise tools including Splunk, SCCM, Micro Focus, and 1E
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve system issues
  • Implement preventive measures to maintain service reliability and uptime
2. Enterprise Patching
  • Lead enterprise patching efforts to address vulnerabilities and ensure system stability
  • Coordinate patch scheduling and deployment to minimize operational disruption
  • Maintain patch records and validate successful implementation
3. Performance Analytics
  • Use performance analytics tools to evaluate service efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Produce regular reports on system performance, patching status, and compliance
  • Offer recommendations for optimization and risk mitigation
4. Issue Remediation
  • Respond swiftly to incidents related to enterprise tools
  • Conduct root cause analysis and apply long-term remediation strategies
  • Partner with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
5. Security Compliance
  • Ensure enterprise services meet security compliance standards and best practices
  • Incorporate the latest security updates and protocols into tool management
  • Conduct routine security assessments and audits
6. Documentation and Communication
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all monitoring, patching, and performance processes
  • Communicate incident status, resolution progress, and system updates to stakeholders
  • Prepare executive-level reports on service metrics and compliance

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 19+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years of relevant experience

Certifications:
  • Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher

Clearance Required:
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role .
