Critical Technology Assessment Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Designs and implements new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency. Applies advanced skills or extensive technical expertise. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience with engineering in Defense Critical Te chn ology sectors, including Kinetic Capabilities, such as Hypersonics, Munitions, and Directed Energy, Energy Storage and Batteries, Castings and Forgings, Microelectronics, Critical Chemicals and Minerals, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Rare Earth Elements, Critical Materials, or Space Te chn ologies
  • Experience performing te chn ical and business assessments of critical te chn ology manufacturing or production capability development and their potential benefits, costs, te chn ology barriers, policy , and regulatory approval requirements
  • Experience in working with Defense or U.S. Government industry providers and industry members to meet needs in critical te chn ology sectors
  • Experience developing and presenting briefings and assessment reports to senior DoD stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working for Senior DoD offi cia ls
  • Experience providing te chn ology analysis to DoD programs making investments in DIB capability expansion
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
