Summary:
Lend database administration support to a cryptographic storefront effort enabling secure communications for government policymakers and warfighters worldwide.
Qualifications & Compensation:
● At least 3 years of Oracle Database Administration experience
● Experience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and SQL in general
● Experience with real time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server
● Must have experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software
● Must have experience implementing and maintaining database security
● Salary of $227k/yr with Bachelor's Degree and 10 years overall of database administration experience.
● Degree must be in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Job Description:
● Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases in a large complex network environment with geographically distributed systems
● Troubleshoot and resolve database problems including database recovery operations as needed
● Perform system upgrades and routine maintenance including IAVA patching
● Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues
