Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements
- Analyzes factors and components of systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency.
- Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements
- Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
- Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree; OR Associate's Degree and 2+ years of experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree; OR High School and 4+ years of experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience desired / 4+ years of experience credit allowed for PhD degree / 2+ years of experience credit allowed for Master's degree
- Requirements analysis experience on a federal contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial systems.
- Security+ certification or equivalent.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
