This program provides comprehensive, performance based, Base Operations Services (BOS) for the headquarters of a major customer in the intelligence community, located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Support includes program management, workforce and security support services, logistics, environmental and occupational health, project management, operations, maintenance, repair, grounds maintenance and custodial services for the 2.5 million square foot state-of-the-art headquarters building, limited support to adjacent customer buildings, and over 100 small satellite locations. The program requires a highly capable team to ensure mission-critical systems and environments operate efficiently and securely, supporting thousands of personnel in a dynamic and evolving environment.

This position is contingent based on contract award.

Responsibilities

V2X is seeking a lead Mechanical Engineer (ME) / Professional Engineer (PE) to serve as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for all mechanical systems at the Government Customer's facilities. The ME provides support to building operations in the following capacity:
  • Advise mechanical technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
  • Develop, implement and regularly review all mechanical preventative maintenance plans meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
  • Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required).
  • Ensure building modifications comply with all code requirements and original design intent for the Customer's facilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories or Possessions.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in managing and operating facilities.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.
