Sr Software Engineer Associate

Quantech Services is seeking a full-time Software Engineer III located at Lackland AFB-San Antonio, TX supporting the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC)

Responsibilities Include:

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, testing, and approving products.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development life cycle.
• Plan and/or implement agile acquisition/software development techniques.
• Plan and/or implement DevOps processes and techniques for Cloud and non-cloud applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience creating, debugging, patching, and maintaining software and/or applications
• Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, and C languages
• Ability to integrate with other organizations/teams
• Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with the customer
• Experience working and incorporating Agile Scrum development methodology
• Work is onsite

Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000
