Grand Prairie TX 75051
Work Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift
Worksite Classification: Worker will Telework < 50%
Pay Rate: $69.13 Hourly OT40
Job Description:
Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
• Engineering degree and strong technical background
• Experience conducting System Safety efforts, testing and verification in compliance with MIL-STD-882 or equivalent
• Knowledge of Safety Engineering design practices
• Ability to manage subcontractors in Safety field of expertise
• Ability to lead a group of Safety engineers to ensure workloads are balanced between team members and commitments to customers are made on schedule.
• Safety proposal and negotiation skills
• Ability to document Safety Subject Matter knowledge on Fire Control Circuits, Ignition Circuits, Explosive Energetics, Special Packaging instructions, Insensitive Munitions Testing in a clear and concise manner for other team members to utilize.
• Strong decision-making skills
• Strong time management skills
