Marathon TS is looking for 2 System Administrator Level I to support our Client program.
Statement of Work:
FEMA Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) Customer and Data Services (CDS) Program. CDS IT Services scope includes: Application Sustainment/Maintenance and Enhancements, Requirements Management, Design, Development & Testing.
Task Description:
Applicant will be a part of the Risk MAP CDS Infrastructure Team that maintains and manages multiple environments, applications, and tools for the FEMA Risk MAP program. We are looking for a dedicated individual with both Windows & Linux OS experience to join the team to maintain, manage, and upgrade our environment based upon the needs of the client. Specifically, we work within the Agile framework to support several Agile Teams for development, communication, and security objectives which requires the ability to communicate needs to different staff with different technical skills. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role to be able to diagnose, resolve, and report problems quickly and accurately.
Required skills/Level of Experience :
• 1-2 years experience in Windows Server, Desktop, and Vmware Administration to include OS builds and deployment, networking, applications installs, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create scripts in Powershell, Perl, Python, and similar languages
• Understanding of security scanning concepts and reporting metrics from Nessus and other tools.
• Experience with patch management and networking
• Be able to self manage tasks
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have skills:
• Windows Sharepoint Administration
• Exposure to Redhat Linux Administration, WebSphere application server, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Process Server, Apache
