The JDISS JPO directly supports Intelligence Mission Applications in response to Commander Joint Chiefs of Staff requirements, and is the program of record for SCI-level Global Command and Control System (SCI GCCS). As JDISS moves into the future, CACI will be working with the JPO in identifying and incorporating new cutting edge technology - including cloud development, that will meet the needs of the DoD, the Intelligence Community, and forward deployed warfighters. What You'll Get to Do:
Serve as a Cloud Applications and Data Services Engineer at the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support Systems (JDISS) Joint Program Office.
The JDISS PMO is migrating the current JDISS baseline into a NEXGEN infrastructure using public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Work with a small team of technical experts in DoD and IC systems architecture, cloud technologies, and associated application services.
Work may include discovery and adoption of emerging solutions or prototypes to fulfill emergent operational requirements.
Engage and collaborate with a small team of technical experts in DoD and IC systems architecture, cloud technologies, and associated application services.
Develop statements of work; monitor system/software design along with related services; develop proposals and estimates for solutions.
Provide guidance on best business practices, procedures, technical designs, and system documentation base on customer guidance and feedback.
Execute and monitor the configuration management process through all stages of testing and accreditation.
Provide input to training requirements for new JDISS capabilities.
Elevate existing application environments; promote discovery and adoption of potential solutions and/or prototypes to fulfill current and emergent operational requirements while the transition to the cloud infrastructure occurs.
Provide status updates to customers and management.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Experience with development in cloud applications.
Experience with Amazon Web Services and C2S cloud.
Experience with application development and a fervor for automation, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, and enabling self-service to cloud infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelors Degree in IT or hard sciences plus 4 years' experience; 7 years' total experience in lieu of degree.
AWS Certified Solutions Developer.
