Candidate will be responsible for the Cisco Meeting Place and Cisco Call Manager installation, configuration, support and administration. Position will require the candidate to analyzes voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communications with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Candidate will Plan network layouts and configures systems to user environments. Also analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements and supports the acquisition of hardware and software as needed. Candidate may provide technical support and troubleshooting to users and perform network administration duties. Candidate will provide guidance and mentor the less-experienced network personnel. Position requires that the candidate maintains current knowledge of relevant technology.
Experience with Cisco Unity Voice Mail installation, configuration, support and administration.
Also, SIP, BGCP and H.323 protocols, Voice Gateway and Gatekeeper installation and administration, Cisco ASA /PIX installation and configuration, IP Telephony Solution Design and support, Microsoft Windows 2008 Server and Microsoft Exchange in an IP telephony environment. Candidate will be required to have access to a secure lab, Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) certification is required. Candidate should be familiar with the use of CISCO Smart-Net for vendor communications.
