DSA Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator. This is a full time position at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD supporting CERDEC.
The Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, more commonly known as CERDEC, actively advances Soldier capabilities that enable situational awareness and understanding, establish and secure communications, and protect Soldiers from surprise attack.
System Administrator Job Requirements:
Manage Domain/Active Directory, application and database servers
To include shares, permissions, IIS, Tomcat, VPN, DNS, group policies, domain controllers, member servers and resource management
Manage product software upgrades/updates for compliance (Java, Tomcat)
VMware ESXi Server administration
Creating/Updating VM templates
Build new servers as needed
Manage resource allocation on ESXi host
Configure services on various VMs to support customer products
Coordinate with DoD/Army Network team to configure external services such as Reverse Proxy, DNS, certificate requests, ACAS scans and resolve issues with connectivity, performance of servers managed
Coordinate with hosting providers to troubleshoot connectivity issues and also network configuration changes/updates
Manage ACAS Scans/IAVA Compliance/McAfee HBSS/WSUS Server
Approve and manage updates using Microsoft WSUS
Ensure clients are updated and compliant in ePO
Deploy, test, and troubleshoot products (usually in coordination with developers)
Support for Development Environments
Configure services as required to meet the needs of the Development Team
Stand up new servers
Decommission/Phase out old, unneeded servers
Integrate with developers to test and troubleshoot software, hardware network, and performance issues
Build, maintain, and support all developer workstations.
